How our CSA program Works

You sign-up for a subscription length of your choice (4, 14, or 29 deliveries) and receive a delivery of fresh, sustainably grown produce at the farm weekly or bi-weekly.  Your credit card is charged for the entire subscription ahead of time.  We have different delivery locations with different packaging costs. You can put a delivery on hold if you will be away as long as you do so before the cutoff deadline.  You also have the option to donate your delivery.

    Participation Terms and Conditions

The 29 week CSA season falls between May 2 (Wed), 2018 and November 17 (Sat), 2018. By signing up for the CSA, you are agreeing to join us for the entire growing season. The box will be filled with 5-12 crops, according to availability. Shares are ready for Pick Up Wednesday 4-6p at the Main Street Farmers Market and Saturday 10a-2p at Crabtree Farms. If your box is not picked up at the appropriate time it will be redistributed, unless prior arrangements have been made. Participants enjoy the bounty and the risks of the farming season. We do our best to ensure good boxes, choosing the items in each weekly share carefully. Please note, however, that all produce, flowers, and co-op items are subject to availability, may vary according to climate factors, and are not guaranteed.

    Picking Up Your CSA Box

    1.  Look for your name on the list that is posted at your pickup site.

    2. Look to see what has been scheduled for you that day (CSA box, eggs, cheese, extra basil, etc...)

    3.  Initial in the space provided before you take your items.

-If your name does not appear on the list, please do not take anything and find the nearest farmer.

    - We only guarantee pickup during the stated hours.  No credits are issued if you are late picking up.  If you think you will be late picking up, please contact us ahead of time to arrange an alternate pickup. Boxes not picked up will be returned to the farm call or email ASAP and your box may be held at the farm for a few days, otherwise all shares are redistributed or donated.

    Putting a Box on Hold

It is easy to manage your account online!  If you are going out of town and would like to skip a delivery, you can do so by simply clicking on the calendar day once you are logged into your online account, and select the day you will be away.  Then click the HOLD button and choose whether you would like to hold your delivery or donate it. All holds must be placed several days in advance. Unfortunately, we can not take last minute cancellations, but you can opt to have a friend pickup your delivery for you!

    We Reuse Your Box

Re-using our boxes helps keep our overhead low, which translates into savings for our members.  Please return your box to the pickup site, and a farmer will return them to the farm.  You might find it easier to bring your own bag to your pickup site to collect your fruit and veggies. This is required for Saturday Pick Ups as no boxes are provided. Thanks!

You now can renew online by simply choosing the subscription you want and pre-paying with your credit card. We also have an automatic renewal option if you would like to have the system renew you for the same subscription each time your previous subscription runs out.
